Prayer - Pt.2
What is prayer? Who are we praying to? And what is the true purpose behind it?
In Prayer Pt. 2, Pastor Paul continues this important series by breaking down the biblical purpose of prayer and helping us understand that prayer is much more than simply asking God for something—it is communication and communion with God.
Prayer is where relationship with God is developed. It is where we speak, listen, worship, give thanks, surrender, and learn to recognize His presence. Communion with God goes even deeper—it speaks of fellowship, intimacy, and the privilege we have of drawing near to our Heavenly Father.
In this message, Pastor Paul teaches:
• Who do we pray to? Understanding that we come to the Father through Jesus Christ.
• What is prayer? Prayer is communication with God—not merely presenting requests, but developing relationship.
• What is communion with God? It is fellowship and intimacy with Him—spending time in His presence and allowing our hearts to become aligned with His.
• Why does prayer matter? Because healthy relationships require communication, and our relationship with God is no different.
God doesn't simply want us to know about Him—He desires for us to know Him. Prayer is one of the greatest privileges God has given us to build that relationship.
Whether you are just beginning your walk with Christ or have been serving Him for many years, Prayer Pt. 2 will encourage you to move beyond simply "saying prayers" and begin experiencing prayer as genuine communion with God.
