Prayer - Pt.3

Sep 6, 2026    Pastor Paul Ceccato

What could happen if we stopped limiting prayer to a moment—and began consecrating every area of our lives to God?

In Part 3 of Prayer, Pastor Paul challenges us to rediscover the power of consecration and what it means to intentionally dedicate ourselves, our homes, and everything God has entrusted to us for His purpose.

Prayer isn't confined to one place. There is power in meeting with God in the secret place, praying in our closet, gathering together in church, joining in corporate prayer, coming before God at the altar, and boldly praying in public.

But consecration takes us even deeper.

Scripture teaches us the importance of praying over the people, places, and things the Lord has placed in our lives. Our families. Our homes. Our workplaces. Our possessions. Our churches. The places we go and the people God has called us to reach.

Pastor Paul gives the definition every believer should remember:

CONSECRATION — “Dedicated to a sacred purpose.”

That definition should cause us to examine our lives: What have I dedicated to God? Am I living with sacred purpose? Have I invited God into every area of my life—or only certain parts?

Christianity is more than something we profess—it is a life surrendered to God. When prayer and consecration come together, we create room for God to work through us, around us, and on our behalf.

Pray over it. Consecrate it. Dedicate it to God. And believe for Him to move.
