Prayer | Pt.4
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
Prayer was never meant to be something we only turn to when life gets difficult—it is meant to become a lifestyle.
In Part 4 of our Prayer series, Pastor Paul teaches us the importance of maintaining a continual life of prayer. We pray in the Spirit. We pray at the beginning of our day. We pray before making decisions. We pray during trials. We pray when anxiety tries to take hold. We pray always.
Jesus Himself demonstrated this throughout His life. He continually withdrew to pray, sought the Father before important moments, prayed through suffering, and remained in constant communion with God.
The Christian life cannot be separated from the prayer life. Prayer keeps us connected to God, sensitive to His Spirit, strengthened during trials, and aligned with His will.
Don’t just pray when you need something—develop a life that stays connected to God through prayer.
Pray continually. Pray consistently. Make prayer your lifestyle.
