Walk in the Spirit

Aug 2, 2026    Campus Pastor Matthew De Leon

What does it truly mean to Walk in the Spirit?

In this message, we explore Paul's powerful command in Galatians 5:16 to live under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Walking in the Spirit is far more than attending church or knowing Scripture—it is a daily pursuit of Jesus Christ that transforms the way we think, live, love, and serve others.

Paul contrasts a life led by the flesh, marked by selfish desires and worldly passions, with a life led by the Spirit, where the evidence is seen through the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Drawing from Philippians 3:10, we also examine Paul's passionate desire: "That I may know Him." His greatest pursuit was not success or comfort, but a deeper relationship with Christ. That same passion should define every believer today.

The question is simple: Are we walking according to the flesh, or are we walking in the Spirit?
