Repentance...The Way to Gods Heart

May 17, 2026    Campus Pastor Matthew De Leon

Repentance is not rejection — it is the way back to the heart of God.

In this powerful and sobering message, we look at the ministry of John the Baptist, the brokenness of Psalm 51, and the prayer of Jonah in Jonah chapter 2 to discover the true meaning of repentance. Throughout scripture, repentance was never meant to shame us, but to awaken us, restore us, and draw us back into fellowship with the Lord.

Sin separates and hardens the heart, but genuine repentance softens us before God and opens the door to mercy, healing, and restoration. This message is both challenging and hopeful as we confront the condition of our hearts and the call to return fully to Him.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God…” – Psalm 51:10
